It is time to see what our justice system is all about.
Former non-binary Biden official Sam Brinton is in Minnesota this week for a hearing on theft charges.
Brinton allegedly helped himself to several suitcases that were not his in St. Paul and Las Vegas.
This is the first of two hearings for Brinton.
Video Says It All
Brinton initially denied any wrongdoing in the case, but the video made it pretty clear this was an intentional act.
An individual looking identical to Brinton picks up a case, removes the tags, looks around, then bolts out of the airport.
When the video was shown on the news back in October, Nevada authorities reopened a case they had on the books.
It turns out, what appears to be the same individual in Minneapolis was also taking luggage that was not his off the carousel in Las Vegas.
Brinton was soon charged in that case as well.
Brinton has been filing to be able to appear remotely for the Minnesota case, but the judge shot the request down.
“The current District Policy does not allow for remote appearances to be conducted for Felony 1st Appearances on the Property Drug Calendar with the only exception given to inmates in the custody of the Department of Corrections of the State of Minnesota.
“Therefore, I must deny your request again.”
We are going to keep our eyes on this case because it will be a measuring stick for our justice system on several different fronts.
