Most of you are quite aware that Joe Biden went to the border over the weekend.
Biden had a summit meeting in Mexico City, so he really had no choice.
After two years, Biden went to El Paso and spent less than four hours on the ground, avoiding all the hot spots.
Shameful
When Biden stated that he was going to El Paso, the cleanup process started.
Border Patrol and local police tore threw the city, locking up every illegal they could find to get them off the street.
The tents were cleaned up and the street washers went to work.
By the time Joe Biden showed up, you could eat off the ground in the center of the city.
Local residents were fuming, as were Border Patrol union officials.
Brandon Judd, president for the National Border Patrol Council, stated, “You can look across the ports of entry on the entire southwest border, and that’s not where we’re seeing the illegal immigration. We’re seeing the illegal immigration between the ports of entry.
“That’s the Border Patrol. That’s the component of CBP that handles all of this.
“He did not have any scheduled visits with them.”
Judd added, “You’re never going to be able to develop true policies and programs and operations unless you’re willing to see exactly what is going on. And he refused to do that.”
Biden did not go to the hot spots because the cameras would have come with him, and that will never happen.
