The floodgates have been reopened.
Two more top White House officials are jumping ship.
Once again, it is the Biden communications team that is leaving the administration.
Karine Jean-Pierre announced the departures.
Megha Bhattacharya and her Chief of Staff Robbie Dornbush have resigned.
Karine Jean-Pierre stated, “We have another bittersweet day for us, for the White House press team, as this is the last press briefing for Megha and Robbie — to my right here — who are valued members of our team.”
KJP continued, “Megha has yelled ‘Thank you, press’ in every room of the White House and on three different continents.
“She’s done it all with grace, a great sense of humor, and grade-A outfits.”
KJP also stated, “I knew Robbie before this administration began.
“But we will truly miss you, Robbie.
“Thank you for everything that you’ve done.”
The two staffers are relatively new appointments, having less than two years in their posts combined.
This is far from the end of the turnover, as several more departures are expected in coming days.
