And while Goodwill is a popular store for many people looking for a bargain, several employees have sparked anger online after uncovering a dark secret occurring in the store that no one ever knew about before.
Multiple staff have complained online about the poor working conditions they are forced to endure. And one individual described an incredibly frightening story that made many people concerned.
The original post has gathered over 81,000 upvotes with thousands of replies from people in many different professions revealing juicy secrets about their jobs.
This Goodwill employee revealed a horribly disgusting secret about how the stores handle the donations given to them.
“At Goodwill, we don’t clean anything that we sell, and we get some really gross stuff that touches everything else,” they revealed. “So next time you buy something from Goodwill, wash it well.”
And surprisingly, this isn’t the only employee making this kind of claim. Another former employee also confirmed these accusations saying: “I used To work At Goodwill, you are 200% correct.”
