Over the last two years, there has been a lot of talk about Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) running for president.
He has done quite a bit to create a national profile.
Cotton finally commented on that this week.
To Run for Not Run
We know Donald Trump is frothing at the mouth to run, but who will challenge him?
Well, it will not be Senator Cotton.
Cotton announced that he is bowing out for family reasons.
Cotton, who is only 45 years old, still has plenty of time to run if he ever goes that route.
What is more important to him now is focusing on his family life, including two young boys aged five and seven.
I would still expect Cotton to continue to hit the trail to promote the Republican agenda and other candidates, however.
There is no need to waste that popularity and profile.
Personally, I think he is just dodging Trump who is clearly about to announce.
