The Vice President Kamala Harris had recently mentioned that the border was closed and under control so Governor Greg Abbott thought he’d put it in her face that no, that’s not the case. Two buses that had between 75 and 100 migrants from Eagle Pass, Texas that crossed into the US illegally arrived at her door. Governor Ron DeSantis is doing something similar, sending migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
Harris is being made a fool
At the very least, a liar with egg on her face as well. Fox reported that, “The group includes migrants from Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico. Multiple migrants, asked by Fox News Digital, said they think the border is open, contrary to what Harris said Sunday during an interview.”
An official for the DeSantis office confirmed that two planes that were part of the relocation program landed there.
“Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations. States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden Administration’s open border policies.”

Harris needs to do her job
Or get out of the way of the adults. It makes sense for migrants that this administration seems to want should be sent to sanctuary cities where there is appropriate help.
The official continued, “As you may know, in this past legislative session the Florida Legislature appropriated $12 million to implement a program to facilitate the transport of illegal immigrants from this state consistent with federal law.”

The Biden/Harris policy
Arizona Governor Doug Ducey as well as Abbott and DeSantis have been sending migrants for months to sanctuary cities also as protest for having the open border and not dealing with the consequences. DeSantis said he could send migrants “to other ‘progressive’ states whose governors endorse blatant violations of federal immigration law. It is not the responsibility of Floridians to subsidize aliens to reside in our state unlawfully; we did not consent to Biden’s open-borders agenda.”
DeSantis had threatened to send migrants to both Delaware and Martha’s Vineyard. Obama and other wealthy Americans could use a little embarrassment. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser recently whined about the migrants landing there as a result of the Democrats’ policies. Abbott responded to her on Twitter. “D.C. is experiencing a fraction of the disastrous impact the border crisis has caused Texas. Mayor Bowser should stop attacking Texas for securing the border & demand Joe Biden do his job.” Renae Eze is a spokesperson for the governor. She said that DC “finally understands what Texans have been dealing with every single day, as our communities are overrun and overwhelmed by thousands of illegal immigrants thanks to President Biden’s open border policies.”
