McConnell PULLS THE PLUG… Trump Will Be LIVID

Senator Minority Leader McConnell (R-KY) appears to be throwing in the towel in a key Senate race.

McConnell’s Senate PAC pulled $10 million of ad buys in two states.

One makes sense, but the second state will surely raise some eyebrows.

Why?

The ad buys that were canceled were in Arizona and Alaska.

I get Alaska, as the two leading candidates in the race are both Republicans, with third and fourth place having no realistic chance.

That is the beauty of an open race.

The cancelation that does not make sense in Arizona, where Blake Masters is still behind Senator Kelly (D-AZ).

This would be especially true because Masters has been surging in polls, moving from about 15 points down to within four points.

The only reasoning here is that Masters is a Trump-supported candidate and McConnell does not want him to win.

Senate Leadership Fund President Steven Law stated, “We’re leaving the door wide open in Arizona, but we want to move additional resources to other offensive opportunities that have become increasingly competitive, as well as an unexpected expense in Ohio.

“We think the fundamentals of this election strongly favor Republicans, we see multiple paths to winning the majority, and we are going to invest heavily and strategically to achieve that goal.”

The PAC still has money in play in Arizona, but this pullback will give Senator Kelly a huge advantage.

I would expect a Trump rant any day now.
