ANOTHER Traitor to Trump CAUGHT ON TAPE

It looks like there’s yet another traitor that’s just been unveiled from the House Republicans.

The leaked audio conversation which has since gone viral has House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on a call with Liz Cheney in addition to other House Republicans where McCarthy stated he would counsel Trump to resign from office back on January 10, 2021.

The audio conversation has since been posted to not only The New York Times but also aired on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show.

During the conversation McCarthy can be heard discussing the Democratic effort to remove Trump from office and stated he would tell Trump, ‘I think it will pass and it would be my recommendation he should resign.’

McCarthy added, “what he did is unacceptable. Nobody can defend that and nobody should defend it.”

After posting about the audio, McCarthy criticized The New York Times and denied claims of him considering persuading Trump to resign.

‘The New York Times’ reporting on me is totally false and wrong,’ the House Republican leader wrote in a statement tweeted out with the caption ‘My statement on the New York Times’.

However, now that the cat’s out of the bag, McCarthy’s private words to Liz Cheney tell a far different story.

NEWS: ⁦@maddow⁩ has audio of Kevin McCarthy saying privately after Jan. 6 that he expects impeachment to pass and was considering asking Donald Trump to resign.

Liz Cheney had questioned McCarthy on whether Trump could choose to reign of his own free will:

“Is there any chance? Are you hearing that he might resign? Is there any reason to think that might happen?”

McCarthy presented his claim a day after audio played by MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow proved he in fact told Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) he wanted Trump gone before the end of his term in office, Mediaite reported.

More details from The Gateway Pundit:

McCarthy then admitted that this was a topic he has “had a few discussions” about with others. “My gut tells me no,” he said. “I’m seriously thinking of having that conversation with him tonight…Um, from what I know of him, I mean you guys all know him too, do you think he’d ever back away? But what I think I’m going to do, is I’m going to call him.”

The minority leader then explained he would appeal to Trump’s reason regarding an impending impeachment resolution. “This, this is what I think, we know it’ll pass the House. I think there’s a chance it’ll pass the Senate, even when he’s gone. Um, and I think there’s a lot of ramifications for that.” One such ramification would be that Trump could never hold federal office again.

McCarthy also indicated that he believed Twitter and Facebook should delete the accounts of lawmakers who were supporting Trump’s claim of a rigged election. “We can’t put up with that,” he said. “Can’t they take their Twitter accounts away, too?”
