A lot of people were silenced on Twitter for believing differently. It makes sense then that somebody who wants to change the platform would be welcomed with open arms. If employees or people who disagree with Elon Musk want to leave, they[‘re allowed and many already have. One set of ideologies have left, another set is signing on. Most of those surveyed use the platform several times a week.
Freedom of speech
That definition became blurred or manipulated on the social media platform. Rasmussen found 62% believe Elon Musk will improve Twitter.
The remaining percentages are almost identical. Those who think the platform will be worse and those who have no opinion are the same, 13%. Twelve percent think there won’t be any change.

Previously banned users returned
Once Musk announced his $44 billion purchase, those who had been kicked off signed back in or created new accounts. Rapper Ice Cube had been shadow banned on Twitter, meaning his profile existed but you couldn’t find it in a search.
Tucker Carlson of Fox News tweeted simply, “We’re back.” People who believed censorship was needed for democracy are leaving.
Ah he got twitter. I would like this to be my what lies here as my last tweet. Just really *any* excuse to show pics of Barold. I fear this free speech bid is going to help this hell platform reach its final form of totally lawless hate, bigotry, and misogyny. Best of luck. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/fBDOuEYI3e

Conservatives are coming back
Those who don’t believe conservatives should speak are upset over the Musk takeover. The corporate media and Hollywood is fearful that, among other things, Trump will return.
Reuters cried, “Political activists expect that a Musk regime will mean less moderation and reinstatement of banned individuals including former President Donald Trump.” Actress Jameela Jamil can’t deal with it and is leaving Twitter. She thinks the changes will “help this hell platform reach its final form of totally lawless hate, bigotry, and misogyny.”
Musk is clear
He wants the social media giant to be open. He doesn’t want his enemies silenced.
Once the deal was given the green light he tweeted, “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated. Twitter has tremendous potential — I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it.”
