Communist China’s state-run newspaper, The Global Times, has released an editorial article threatening nuclear war.
According to the article, Beijing is preparing for a nuclear war with the United States in response to calls for a probe into the origins of COVID. The article claims that China is building new warheads and intercontinental missiles in an effort to deter the United States, noting that “the number of China’s nuclear warheads must reach the quantity that makes U.S. elites shiver….should they entertain the idea of engaging in a military confrontation with China.”
China currently has approximately 350 nuclear warheads, while the United States has 6,000.
The Global Times’ article was published just days after Joe Biden announced that the Intelligence Community would be launching a new probe into the origins of the coronavirus, specifically looking at whether it leaked from a virology lab in Wuhan, China.
Of course, China is outraged that anyone would dare claim the virus came from anywhere other than nature. The country’s communist leadership has denounced the investigation, claiming it is “politicized.”
Conservatives have been calling for a serious probe into this theory for a long time, while the left was satisfied with the “investigation” carried out by the communist China-backed World Health Organization.
“The WHO mission was a joke…it was filled with a bunch of people who had no relevant expertise…they didn’t get to interview the researchers and the staff in the lab…they didn’t get the records,” said Republican Senator Tom Cotton. ”They basically sat in a conference room and got some coffee and doughnuts and were fed a PowerPoint set of lies by Chinese communist apparatchiks.”
Other Republicans are pointing out that initiating an investigation at this point is too late. Any evidence that did exist in the beginning is likely gone now.

In a recent interview, Senator Cotton stated the obvious: China’s aggression toward the upcoming investigation suggests they have something to hide.
“They are not only incompetent and negligent in this laboratory if the virus came from the lab, but menevolant by showing complete disregard for the lives of their own subjects in addition to lives around the world,” Cotton said.
The U.S. House Intelligence Committee has a 90 day deadline to report back on the findings of their investigation. The article from The Global Times warns that even the most minor incident during that time may spark a full-scale war because of a so-called “hostile attitude” from the U.S.
