As anyone who has lived in some cities can tell you, there are definite signs that it might be time to look for greener pastures.
I have an uncle who recently retired and spent almost his entire life living on the north side of the liberal hellhole of Chicago. Can’t blame him, he had a job that paid extremely well.
Anyway, the second that he retired he got an offer on his house that he simply could not pass up and decided to move as he said, “as far away from the damn city as humanly possible.”
It’s sad what has happened to some formerly great American cities. It seems that almost every city that I spend any amount of time in has just gone completely to crap in the last twenty-five years.
Whether it be drugs, liberal policies, unchecked crime, or homeless people pooping in the street; it seems that people are almost being begged to leave cities.
Drugs are the biggest issue next to the liberal policies. Without the liberal policies, the drugs aren’t as prevalent. Without the drugs, you don’t have all of the other horrible stuff that has made living in our great American cities untenable.

Some things just seem to attract drug users. One of them is the fact that depending on what city you go to, you can’t walk fifty feet without running into a damn liquor store.
Now don’t get me wrong, I like myself a little whiskey and wine now and again, but there are so many liquor stores that have popped up they are becoming a damn nuisance.
Then there are the vending machines. I’m not talking about your soda machine outside the grocery store or the sandwich machine inside the office building. I’m talking about vending machines that are selling crack pipes.

No, that’s not a funny way of saying a super sour piece of candy. I’m talking about actual, no-fooling crack pipes. In the liberal wasteland that is Long Island, New York there have been crack pipe vending machines that have been popping up. From what I have been able to gather they look like those old pencil machines that we used to have in school.
Nobody seems to be totally sure according to police reports who exactly has been putting these machines all over the Long Island area.
But if there are so many people smoking crack in your neighborhood that there are drug dealers installing vending machines for people to get crack pipes; it might be time to move.
If a criminal is going to make a move that brazen, it might be time to do like my uncle did and flee the city.
