Reports are finally coming in regarding the drone attacks against U.S. forces in the Middle East.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that roughly 20 troops had been injured in what were four separate attacks at two different bases.

The Pentagon stated that the attacks came at the hands of fighters backed by the Iran regime.

Drawing Us In

This would appear to be Iran trying to lure the United States back into a war in the Middle East.

When reports of the attacks were first announced, troops’ injuries were not included.

Now we know that roughly 20 troops were injured in the drone attacks.

Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder, the Pentagon press secretary, stated, “What we are seeing is the prospect for more significant escalation against U.S. forces and personnel across the region in the very near term coming from Iranian proxy forces and ultimately from Iran.

“We always reserve the right to defend ourselves, and we will never hesitate to take action when needed to protect our forces and our interests overseas.”

Ryder also stated that more than a dozen attacks took place between October 17 and October 24.

The attacks were made against U.S. troops and coalition forces in Iraq and Syria.

It is hard to imagine us not being sucked into this Israeli war at some point, but do we really have the supplies to do this while providing aid to both Ukraine and Israel?

Sounds like Congress needs to enact the Defense Production Act to get American factories cranking out military weapons, equipment, and ammunition.
