In a recent interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., said that he would like to see someone else challenge President Joe Biden in the 2024 Democratic primary.
He further stated that anyone who is willing and ready to run should take the chance.
He stated his admiration for Biden but noted that it is time for new leaders in power as well, specifically mentioning Senator Joe Manchin and professor Cornel West as potential candidates he would like to see enter the race.
Lisa Boothe from Fox News was quick to point out that although Democrats may want someone other than Biden running in 2024, Vice President Kamala Harris would likely be the one who takes over if he were not re-elected.
This situation is unpopular with both sides of voters according to recent polls.
In fact, even 50% of Democrats said they wanted another nominee in a focus group conducted by Kristen Soltis Anderson from The New York Times.
Joe Concha went on to add that regardless of whether people vote for or against him, President Biden looks likely to win due to a lack of challengers willing to debate him prior to elections taking place.

One things for sure: even Democrats are done with Biden and want him out…that’s certainly saying a lot.
