In today’s world, there are many things that can make us feel like the main character of our own story.
One woman recently had what she deemed to be her very own “main character moment” when washing her car in a bikini while being watched by an unlikely observer – a Karen.
The TikTok user (@seasonaldepression_) shared the whole experience with her followers, scrubbing down mats while wearing nothing but a two-piece and baseball cap.
She began by saying: “Had a main character moment today…washing my car and mats in a skimpy bikini while a Karen stands across the street like…” adding an emoji to the end of this sentence for extra emphasis.
To further illustrate this surreal situation, she added some background music to accompany it – singing “I’m just a girl, I’m just a girl in the world” as if putting on her own personal show.
Despite having an audience of one, it seemed that this woman wasn’t at all uncomfortable or embarrassed about the situation – responding with “Best birthday present” when asked how she felt about it.
It seems that others were supportive too; comments such as “I’ve never supported anything more” were left under her post, although some thought they could understand why this woman may have been so irked – with suggestions such as “She mad she olddddd” being offered up.
Another person said they would have reacted differently: suggesting that if they were in this position they would ask “Are you enjoying the show or making me feel uncomfortable?”
