The Republican Party is facing a divide between those who want to represent the American people and those who don’t.
Four GOP senators have recently threatened to leave the party if they are forced to represent the interests of voters.
Lisa Murkowski, John Thune, and John Cornyn are among these senators who would prefer not to compromise or discuss their stance on representing Americans.
It is no secret that these senators support policies which have been detrimental to the American people.
This includes more money being spent in order to cause massive inflation, open borders supporting drug cartels and child trafficking, trans-rights issues infringing on religious freedoms, and even backing Russia over Ukraine in nuclear power matters. The list goes on and on.
Recent interviews conducted by The Hill revealed that some Republican senators are now feeling the pressure from within their own ranks as well as from other professional groups demanding a more populist approach when it comes to government representation.
It seems these politicians would rather switch sides than compromise with those who want what is best for the nation as a whole.
In light of this news, it can be easy for Americans to become discouraged with our current leadership however, we cannot let this divide us any further than we already are.
We must hold our elected officials accountable for their actions and push forward towards true bipartisanship that puts our nation first above all else.
