Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has been out of the public eye lately.
She is keeping her head buried in the sand right now, and for good reason.
The Durham probe proved that she, like several other Democrats, lied to the American people.
You Were Wrong
Not long after Trump was elected, Pelosi stated, “Our election was hijacked. There is no question.”
She had also stated, “This week we saw cold hard evidence of the Trump campaign, indeed the Trump family, eagerly intending to collude, possibly, with Russia, a hostile foreign power, to influence American elections.”
That “evidence,” we now know, was bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC.
It was not corroborated, and it was not true.
Durham commented on that in his report.
In part, he stated, “This information in part triggered and sustained Crossfire Hurricane and contributed to the subsequent need for Special Counsel [Robert] Mueller’s investigation. In particular, there was significant reliance on investigative leads provided or funded [directly or indirectly] by Trump’s political opponents.
“The Department did not adequately examine or question these materials and the motivations of those providing them, even when at about the same time the Director of the FBI and others learned of significant and potentially contrary intelligence.”
If nothing else, Durham is meticulous and a straight shooter, so there is zero reason to doubt his conclusions.
Had he tried those cases in virtually any other state, he would win them easily, but they were tried in a liberal-dominated venue with a liberal judge… he never stood a chance.
It will be very interesting to see if and when Pelosi pops up, if the media goes after her or gives her a free pass.
I would say the latter is all but guaranteed.
