A new report surfaced this week that suggested the problems for Donald Trump’s detail have been going on for quite some time.
This time, Trump’s detail was apparently outsmarted by a juvenile.
In 2023, Mar-a-Lago was breached by a young kid who was looking to take a swim.
Really, Secret Service?
The incident was first reported by Susan Crabtree from RealClearPolitics, who has had some great breaking stories as of late.
She reported, “One source said the intruder did a ‘cannon-ball’ into the pool, but another could only confirm that the young person jumped into the pool.”
Now, I have questioned the quality of Donald Trump’s detail on several occasions already, including the horrific coverage that was given to Trump for his PA rally where he almost lost his life.
What is more disturbing than the report is that there are no records of any of the agents having been disciplined for the breakdown in coverage.
When the Secret Service was asked about the incident, it responded, “The juvenile was apprehended and taken into custody by Palm Beach Police Department officers.
“The U.S. Secret Service takes these matters extremely seriously, and at the time, an investigation was immediately launched, and certain U.S. Secret Service personnel were held accountable in accordance with agency protocols.
“We remain thankful to the Town of Palm Beach Police Department and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for their response and strong partnership.”
Keep in mind, it was also recently reported that the home of National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan had been breached by a drunk who entered his home, and those agents were removed from the detail.
So, I guess it is okay for Donald Trump to have the clown car, but when it comes to the Biden administration, they make sure everyone is top-notch.
