Fani Willis is having a pretty tough go of it right now.
Willis is now being accused of tanking a case on purpose.
Attorneys in the Young Slime Life (YSL) gang are claiming she purposely held an illegal meeting so prosecutors could hit the reset button.
She Did It on Purpose
The Young Thug case has been going on for years.
After all, it took them about 10 months just to set a jury up, but very deep into the trial, there was an uncooperative witness.
The judge, prosecutors, and the witness then had a private meeting, which was objected to at the time by defense attorneys.
The defense made a motion to have the judge recuse himself, and he was eventually removed from the case, only to have the replacement judge recuse himself.
Now, defense attorneys believe this was all a setup to give prosecutors a redo.
Attorney Douglas Weinstein stated, “What is the State to do?
“Losing its case, apparently unconcerned about the need for public justice, the State clearly sought an opportunity to restart the trial by triggering an event in such egregious violation of the Constitutional rights of Kendrick that he would have no choice but to request a mistrial.
“Now, goaded by the State and the actions of Chief Judge [Ural] Glanville, Kendrick has no option but to move this Court for a mistrial to respect the Constitutional rights of Kendrick and not defeat the ends of public justice.”
What is really baffling is that despite all the problems Willis had with this case and the Trump case, she actually won her primary race, and she won it overwhelmingly.
She took down 89% of the vote, and she will likely win the general election.
So, I have to ask, what is wrong with Democrat voters and why do they turn into zombies when they go to vote in an election?
If they know the name and see a D next to it, they just pull the handle.
