Trump, however, is not the only one.
This time, however, Merrick Garland and Joe Biden were dealt a significant loss.

Casino mogul Steve Wynn faced several allegations beginning in 2018.
At the time, Wynn was serving as the CEO of Wynn Resorts and RNC Finance Chair in 2018.
If you know Las Vegas, you know Wynn was a major player in creating the mega-resorts we see today, having built The Mirage, which was a specimen that nobody had witnessed before.
Even though The Mirage is about to become a Hard Rock Casino, it remains one of my favorite spots when I visit the city. It will truly be sad to see it go.
Anyway, in 2018, Wynn was accused of sexual misconduct, so he stepped down from his role even though he was adamant that he was innocent.
Wynn was also charged as a foreign agent for having petitioned Trump to help extradite Chinese businessman Guo Wengui in 2022.
Wengui had been very critical of the Chinese government, and was a friend of Wynn’s seeking asylum in the United States.
The DOJ revived the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which, at the time, was the first time FARA had been activated in roughly three decades.
Since, the Biden administration has been on a tear charging Trump surrogates.
The DOJ lost the case in the lower court and now has lost its appeal, with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruling, “Even accepting the government’s allegations as true, Wynn long ago ceased acting as a foreign agent; he has no present obligation to register.”
Wynn attorney Bob Luskin responded, “Without commenting on the specifics, we are delighted with the result. It is a well-deserved finish to a long ordeal for our client.”
Another high-ranking Republican, another major supporter of Donald Trump, and another charge by the DOJ… but no, this administration is not using the DOJ to take out its opponents.
