meat ban

WHO Declares War on Meat – Will Your Burger Be Illegal Soon?

In a move that just screams overreaching to the point of muscle pulls, the World Health Organization is calling for a total overhaul of global food systems.

They are advocating for the end to meat consumption on the whole in order to combat climate change.

This absolutely laughable demand signals a dangerous encroachment to the personal freedoms we hold dear and a complete ignorance towards what are the normal realities of food production, as well as dietary preferences around the globe.

WHO’s terribly misguided proposal to eradicate the consumption of meat as a means of tackling “climate change” is extremely dubious and troubling from a moral as well as an ethical standpoint.

Demonizing the act of eating a steak as an example and calling for outright elimination is completely disregarding the nutritional needs as well as cultural preferences of millions of people around the world.

Added to that, the idea that banning the consumption of meat will magically solve the problem that they call climate change is not only a short-sighted notion but dangerously naive.

While it might be true in small doses that agricultural practices might have a tiny environmental impact, it’s certainly not enough to go full-liberal and ban eating meat altogether.

The World Health Organization proposal also fails to figure in the role that meat takes in getting from the farm to your dinner table when it comes to employing countless people.

From small farms, large corporate farms, processing facilities, even the butcher at your grocery store; they fail to factor in these people that are employed with the singular idea of getting protein into your diet.

Besides, there may be some folks who work at a meat processing plant that might be the only job that they can get based on where they live.

Are we to deprive those people of the chance to provide for their families just because of some convoluted nonsense about cow farts?

I mean really people, if someone wants to do something on their own and never eat meat again I’ve got no problem with that. More steak for me as far as I am concerned.

But don’t think for a second that banning meat for everyone is something that would ever work..
