Shocking news has come in that US Customs and Border Patrol captured four Iranians at the US-Mexico border just this past month. These individuals who were apprehended have been deemed “special interest aliens,” which is defined as a term to refer to people who pose a threat of terrorism or espionage.
The news of these captures has stirred up many questions about the current state of US immigration policy.
**BREAKING ** CBP sources confirm to FOX News at least 2 known instances of Iranians apprehended at the border hitting the TSDB (terrorist screening data base) “raising red flags that they could pose a significant security threat” in first two weeks of FY24 (Oct 1-14) @FoxNews

With Joe Biden in office, our nation’s borders have become increasingly open and porous, creating an environment where anyone can enter without punishment or delay – even those posing a potential security risk. This is especially concerning considering that there has already been an estimated 1.5 million illegal immigrants who managed to successfully enter into the United States during Joe Biden’s time as president.
How is it possible for border patrol agents to capture any terrorists when so many others are slipping through unnoticed?

So what exactly does it mean for someone from Iran, Egypt, Lebanon or another foreign country to be considered a “special interest alien”? The term was coined by government officials after 9/11 as a way of referring to individuals from countries with known ties to terrorism or espionage who could potentially pose a threat if allowed entry into the US without proper vetting and screening processes.
It is important that our country maintains strict standards when it comes to allowing foreign nationals into our borders, particularly those from countries with close ties to terrorist organizations or other hostile entities.

We must take steps towards strengthening our immigration policies in order maintain public safety and national security here in America.
We should not be allowing any individuals – whether they’re “special interest aliens” or not – into our nation without properly vetting them first.
