Israel is finally done playing games with Hamas.
After years of back and forth, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared war against Hamas.
This is the first time in five decades that Israel will be at war.
Caught Off Guard
Israel was not ready for this attack at all, which is rather astonishing.
It is beyond disturbing that the United States and Israel failed to pick up any intelligence on this attack before it took place.
A source close to Hamas told Reuters, “Hamas gave Israel the impression that it was not ready for a fight.”
“Hamas used an unprecedented intelligence tactic to mislead Israel over the last months, by giving a public impression that it was not willing to go into a fight or confrontation with Israel while preparing for this massive operation.”
Israel may have been caught off guard, but now Israel is firmly in the game.
The country launched a massive counterattack that killed hundreds and injured thousands.
While we support Israel, this is very concerning from a national security standpoint.
Think about this…
Every major adversary or enemy we have right now has either launched an attack against an ally or has been overly aggressive.
This has resulted in the United States supplying these countries with more military aid and in the process, drained our resources.
To put it bluntly, our country has never been so ripe for an invasion as it is right now.
