If this story isn’t a clear sign that Joe Biden is a hypocrite, I don’t know what would be. Rather than focus on the migrant crisis, where thousands of people are illegally crossing the southern border on a daily basis, Biden has decided to make it his life’s mission to deport this one family.
It’s a heartbreaking story for the Romeike family. A German Christian family, with seven children and one grandchild, that was forced to flee their home country 15 years ago after facing prosecution for homeschooling their children.
Now, they are facing deportation under President Joe Biden’s administration at the same time as many migrants have been relocated throughout the nation.
Germany has very strict laws against homeschooling, which mandates lessons on tolerance and inclusivity that must be taught in public schools only. These laws have caused Uwe and Hannelore Romeike to seek asylum in Tennessee five years after fleeing Germany.
Breaking! The Biden admin is purposely targeting legally settled Christians for deportation while millions of illegals get free cash and digs.

Notably, when they requested asylum in the US during former President Obama’s regime it was denied by the Justice Department with an explanation that read “the goal in Germany is for an open, pluralistic society… teaching tolerance to children of all backgrounds helps to develop the ability to interact as a fully functioning citizen in Germany.”
The Romeike family was represented by Kevin Boden who argued that they had a well-founded fear of persecution based on their decision to homeschool their kids. The court then allowed them to stay while appeals process continued but eventually deported them back to Germany even though it hadn’t been determined whether or not this would be safe for them or if there were any other options available given their situation.
It’s disheartening news considering President Biden has made it clear he wants his administration to focus on restoring respect for human rights across America and beyond its borders.
Unfortunately, this means little consolation now for Uwe and Hannelore Romeike who have already been deported from the US despite having valid reasons why sending them back may pose a risk not just for themselves but also their extended family.
