The former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is considering running for the US Senate, and with her support from Donald Trump she could be a powerful force in the upcoming election.
After staffing up and planning an October launch, Kari has already made her presence known throughout the state of Arizona.
With her fiery rhetoric and strong backing from President Trump there is no doubt that she will be a great addition to the race.
Kari Lake has served as an anchor on TV news since 2009, giving her a platform to espouse her values and beliefs.
During this time she also ran for Governor of Arizona but ultimately lost to Doug Ducey in the primary election.
Although Kari was unsuccessful during this campaign, it did not deter her enthusiasm or ambition – now she is looking towards the next chapter of politics!
In recent days Kari has joined forces with Bernie Moreno, Ohio’s Republican senate candidate, to attract an audience of over 650 people at a rural event.
This shows just how popular they both are among conservatives around America.
Kari Lake recently spoke at The Family Leadership Summit in Iowa where she stated that out of all potential candidates running for Kyrsten Sinema’s seat in 2021, only she would have enough strength to win the race.
Recent polling supports this statement too: one survey had 38% registered Republicans voting for Kari before any announcement has been made about whether or not she will run.
Her senior advisor Caroline Wren expressed full confidence that “when President Trump gets back in the White House, he’s going to need fighters like Kari Lake in Washington, DC”.
That sentiment certainly rings true as we look ahead towards 2024’s election season.
