This Hollywood star just did something that has fans cheering.
Matthew McConaughey, his wife Camila Alves, and their son Levi are doing all they can to help those affected by the devastating wildfires on the island of Maui.
The Oscar-winning actor, along with his family have partnered with Baby2Baby, a non-profit organization that provides immediate relief to those suffering from natural disasters.
In a video posted on Tuesday, they asked those who could to donate to Baby2Baby’s efforts or any other way they could help.
In an effort to provide assistance to the afflicted islanders, Baby2Baby has sent hundreds of thousands of emergency supplies such as diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and hygiene products for families in need.
They are also providing long term assistance through partners such as Aloha Diaper Bank and Hawaii Diaper Bank who are focusing on getting critical supplies directly into the hands of people who have lost everything.
So far $244,317 has been raised out of their goal of one million dollars.
