Well, I guess that visit by Israeli Prime Minister is just going to have to wait a bit.
PM Benjamin Netanyahu had a bit of a medical emergency.
He had been admitted to the hospital last Saturday, but things took a nasty turn over the weekend.
Under the Knife
Netanyahu had reportedly lost conscious and took a nasty fall.
He was taken to the hospital and admitted.
The early belief was that this was just dehydration, with Netanyahu even making a statement.
It turns out, it was a bit more serious than that.
Netanyahu updated everyone, stating, “I want to update you on what’s going to happen.
“Last week they gave me a monitoring device. The device beeped and said I need a pacemaker, and I need to do that already tonight. I feel great, but I listen to my doctors.
“The doctors tell me that I will be free tomorrow afternoon already.
“I will be discharged from the hospital ready to arrive at the Knesset for the vote.”
Justice Minister Yariv Levin will be assuming Netanyahu’s duties until he is able to return.
