A young man that had his 15 minutes and then some in the NFL is now gone.
Alex Collins, who played for the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens, has died.
According to reports, Collins was involved in a motorcycle accident in Florida on Sunday night.

The police report of the accident stated, “According to investigators, at some point, the Chevrolet driver proceeded to turn left to travel south onto Northwest 33rd Avenue.
“As the car crossed the eastbound lanes, the motorcycle struck the rear passenger side of the SUV.
“The impact caused the motorcyclist to enter the rear passenger side window of the Chevrolet and come to a final rest inside the car.
“The collision also caused the Chevrolet to rotate clockwise before finally resting.”

Collins played three seasons in the NFL.
He entered the league with Seattle in 2016, before moving on to Baltimore in 2017.
He had a standout season in 2017, rushing for 973 yards on 212 carries.
He remained with Baltimore for the 2018 season, but missed almost the entire second half of the season and the whole 2019 season.
In 2020, he returned for a cup of coffee with Seattle and remained with the team in 2021.
He got serious playing time in weeks four through 11, even putting up a 100-yard game.
During his three-year career, he had 1197 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns.
He also had a total of 467 yards receiving, with one TD.
Collins was drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
