Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had a rough day on Sunday.
McConnell was making his 28th appearance as a Senator at the Fancy Farm Annual Picnic.
I think it is safe to say he wished he had stayed home.
Heckled
The moment that McConnell took the stage, attendees started to give him the business.
For the more than five minutes that McConnell spoke, the crowd was heckling him, including calls to retire…

McConnell was clearly taking heat from both sides of the aisle that were in attendance.
Events like this do not usually feature partisan speeches, but McConnell’s attacks against Democrat Governor Andy Beshear did not sit well with the liberal horde.
MAGA was also in attendance, with chants of “Retire” being heard in the crowd.
Now, here is what baffles me about this… if they hate the man this much, how in the world did he win another re-election?
Anyway, Trump chimed in on Truth Social, stating, “I AGREE!
“BOOOOO — RETIRE, RETIRE, RETIRE — BOOOOOO!!!”
I have been looking to retire McConnell from the Senate long before Trump took office, so I am completely on board with this.
I think that as conservatives, we made it pretty clear to our elected representatives that we wanted McConnell replaced in leadership, but they did not listen.
So, the only way to rectify this is to remove this man from office, but the only people that can do that are the people of Kentucky, so wake up and stop electing this fossil to office.
