Dr. Mary Costantino blames Democrat officials in the city of Portland, Oregon, for the lawlessness which led to her assault. The “interventional radiologist” needed some X-rays and intervention herself, after she was beaten senseless on the streets of anarchist paradise.
Democrat officials to blame
Interventional radiologist Mary Costantino is just as angry with Democrat officials being paid from her taxes as she is with the maniac who assaulted her at random.
The police who took a full twenty minutes to respond owe her an accounting as well. One with a few zeroes on it.
The vicious attack happened on July 28. That’s when the doctor “left a bar around 10:50 p.m. with a friend.” As soon as she hit the Democrat inspired anarchy of a Portland sidewalk, an “unidentified attacker approached the pair and launched an aluminum bottle at the left side of her face.”

The ubiquitous security camera filmed the attack but the attacker remains “unidentified” because the so-called police don’t have a clue who he is or where to find him.
“It happened really fast, kind of out of nowhere,” Costantino relates. “He just threw an aluminum water bottle and it hit my face. It was hurled pretty hard and it just got me, just knocked me right in the head.”
The Democrat run city has decriminalized crime by not bothering to prosecute anyone for anything. They defunded the police down to the bare bones required to stop the occasional riot. Since liberals prefer anarchy, the rest of the citizens have begun taking the law into their own hands.
Thought she would die
The thing that stands out most clearly in the doctor’s mind was the fear, as she lay bleeding on the ground waiting for cops to arrive, she was actually “going to die.” A member of the Democrat local majority herself, she’s been suddenly disillusioned from the social justice coddling and demands a safe space of her own.
Confused and disoriented from the substantial blow to her head from an aluminum water bottle, the doctor “thought we were still being sort of attacked some way and so I managed to call 911. I was very calm, but I was also very sure I was going to die.”
“In my head, I was like ‘I’m gonna try and just verbalize a report of what was happening so there’s some record of how I died.‘”

That sounds a little melodramatic to anyone but another Democrat but her attorney will be be quoting it heavily, as her on the spot impressions. Those mean a lot to a jury. The one in her case will be heavily sponsoring the blue team.
Dr. Constantino will be reconsidering her voter registration after waiting “over 20 minutes for police to respond to the area near Southwest 17th Avenue and Southwest Yamhill Street, a neighborhood in the downtown part of the city, several blocks from the Willamette River.” Once they managed to find her, she “sported a black eye, a cut on her nose and a busted lip.” She was sitting in a pool of her own blood when cops arrived but she doesn’t blame them.
“I do not hold the police accountable for this at all, I hold our city accountable for defunding the police and making it (that) we are in this situation where we don’t have enough police force to protect our citizens, and we did this to ourselves.” We meaning fellow “Democrat” voters. She’s going to start exercising her Second Amendment rights and becoming a lot more vigilant. “If we don’t have police officers to come to the side of somebody who is under attack, then we are all on our own.” That’s the flip side of the anarchy coin.
