Governor Ron DeSantis has decided to chime in on the Bud Light-Dylan Mulvaney drama.
DeSantis has been at the forefront of the effort by the GOP to stop this ridiculous effort to force transgenderism on our kids.
His supporters loved his answer about what to do about Bud Light.
It’s Garbage
I have not had light beer in about three decades, and I was never a Bud drinker, so this was a no-brainer boycott for me.
As it turns out, Governor DeSantis and I have something in common… we both prefer Guinness.
When asked about the boycott, DeSantis stated, “Why would you want to drink Bud Light?
“I mean honestly, that’s like them rubbing our faces in it, and it’s like these companies that do this, if they never have any response, they are just gonna keep doing it.
He continued, “So, if you as a consumer are like… ‘ yeah, they’re doing that, but I’m just gonna keep drinking it anyways,’ well, then they’re gonna keep doing it.
“So I think we have power as consumers to make our voice heard, and not on every company because sometimes conservative consumers aren’t going to make a dent in some companies.
“This one is one if you don’t have conservative beer drinkers, you’re gonna feel that and so you know.”
DeSantis was then asked what he drinks, and he revealed that both he and his wife prefer a Guinness when they head to the local tappy.
DeSantis added that he became quite fond of the brew when he went to Dublin, Ireland.
