A married Chines aerial acrobat team had a horrific accident recently.
The wife appeared to slip, then fell to the ground to her death.
But there is a bit more to it than just that.

The couple was known for taking big risks.
Sun Moumou and Zhang Moumou were known for not working with safety lines and nets.
If you put your life on the line, you get paid more, and they wanted to make more.
That risk, sadly, was realized.
Sun appeared to slip off her husband’s feet unexpectedly, then she held on to his neck for dear life, but she did not have a solid grip.
As she lost her grip, her husband failed to catch her in his legs, and she fell more than 30 feet to her death.
There may be more to this, however, as there were rumors that Sun and her husband were arguing before the routine.
When Zhang was asked about it, he stated, “We were always happy together.
“There was no fight.
“As I am in the middle of the process of dealing with all of this, I can’t disclose any specific details at this time.”
