Roy McGrath allegedly got sticky fingers on his way out the door, then went on the run.
Well, the FBI caught up with him, and now he is dead from a gunshot wound.
Dead in Disgrace
McGrath decided to go on the run rather than face the music for his crimes.
He made it to Tennessee, where the FBI finally caught up with him.
There was a reported standoff, which resulted in shots being exchanged.
While it has been reported that one FBI agent did fire his weapon, it remains unclear if the FBI agent took McGrath’s life or if the wound was self-inflicted.
Joseph Murta, McGrath’s attorney, stated, “Good evening. The FBI has confirmed that Roy has succumbed to his injuries.
“It is unclear to me at this time if the injury was self-inflicted or was as a result of an exchange of gunfire with the FBI.
“It is a tragic ending to the past three weeks of uncertainty.
“I think it is important for me to stress that Roy never wavered about his innocence.”
Yes, because everyone that is innocent goes on a cross-country run to evade police, then gets in a standoff.
