A blistering report has just surfaced that is not good for the CDC.
The report shows glaring errors that were made over the last three years in processing information from the pandemic.
If the report is accurate, and it has not yet been peer reviews, heads need to roll at the CDC.
Inexcusable Errors
According to the report, the numbers, specifically the numbers as they related to children, were grossly exaggerated.
The majority of the errors were in 2022 reporting, but there were errors dating back to 2021 as well as errors in the first few months of this year.
Co-author Vinay Prasad, a former National Institutes of Health, stated, “The errors are damning. Basic counts of dead kids, causes of childhood death. Unacceptable incompetence.”

Some of the errors were pure sloppiness on the part of the government as well as supervisors who should have reviewed and edited the report to correct them.
One error, for instance, had the numbers transposed from 0.04% to 4.0%, a significant difference when you are talking about infection and mortality rates.
It’s just so striking to see all these errors at once. Reckless incompetence from @CDCgov.

The authors stated, “These errors have been made repeatedly and were likely to have affected discussion of pandemic policies,” particularly the CDC’s guidance calling for “school closures, mask mandates, and strong recommendations for vaccinations and multiple boosters even among children who have recovered from the virus.”
The report is extensive, but you can read it in full on Just the News.
