Joe Biden and Secretary Austin just assigned 1,500 troops sent to the border.
They will complement the 2,500 troops that are already there.
Now, I seem to remember outrage on the left and media when Trump did something similar in 2018, but save a few exceptions, we are barely hearing a peep out of the usual mouthpieces on the left.
Activate the Troops
The White House has been adamant that the troops heading to the border are only going to be used for transportation and paperwork, which is insulting the troops.
Basically, Biden is going to use them as processors for illegal immigrants, then also use them to taxi them to their destinations.
It has been hinted that if the troops are needed longer than this 90-day order, National Guard troops may be used to relieve them.
When Trump used troops for the border, Tulsi Gabbard, Ro Khanna, Judy Chu, Ted Lieu, Charlie Crist, Jamie Raskin, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Mark Takano, Pramila Jayapal, Hakeem Jeffries, Steve Cohen, Eric Swalwell, Hank Johnson, Karen Bass, Elijah Cummings, and Bennie Thompson were among House Democrats that demanded accountability on this.
No such letter has been given to Biden from that same group (at least the ones still in Congress).
This is a headline grab for Biden and Austin.
It gives the illusion they are doing something about the border crisis, when in actuality they are only ensuring illegals are processed quicker to be released into the country.
Sadly, they are using our military to betray We the People.
