No matter what happens in Ukraine, China wins. Xi Jinping is grinning from ear-to-ear on his way home from Moscow. He’s doing the same thing he does every night, trying to take over the world. He’s a lot closer toward his goal and all Joe Biden can say is “Gnarf.” The Summit Pooh Bear had with Vladimir Putin provides “more evidence of the increasingly worldwide nature of the threats facing the United States and its allies.”
Moscow agrees to China plan
Along with the peace plan China came up with for ending the Ukraine war, John Bolton wrote a column for the New York Post which says that “the Moscow meeting further crystallizes the 21st-century’s anti-Western Axis.” Putin wrote of their conference that relations between the two today “practically represent the cornerstone of regional, even global stability.”
Meanwhile, Vlad’s “dear friend” Xi proffered his “deep gratitude,” noting their “friendship is growing day-by-day.” Over in Kyiv, Volodymyr Zelenskyy isn’t real happy. He’s looking over his copy of the deal like it was the head of his favorite horse in bed with him. They made him one of those “offers you can’t refuse.”
This deal basically tells Ukraine it’s in their best interest to cede the disputed territory to Russia. Those who lived there were mostly Russian or at least sympathetic to Putin anyway, before the war. If Kiev accepts that fact, they can dicker over the size of the territory. It would put Ukraine in a position with huge leverage to demand heavy back end “reparations” to restore the damage done by Russia. That’s a win-not lose too bad scenario.
Washington argues that any ceasefire mediated by China in Ukraine is "unacceptable" and will be opposed by the US.
What happened to allowing Kiev decide if it wants ceasefire and negotiations? Arguing that this is not also an American war is becoming more ridiculous by the day pic.twitter.com/XRjVnV7HQa— Glenn Diesen (@Glenn_Diesen) March 20, 2023
They could say no and keep fighting. The big Moscow meeting seems to indicate if Russia decides to use a nuke or two and force the issue, China will still love them anyway. The big question is what gets nuked. Obviously, it won’t be something Vlad will need later. Kiev could end up vaporized about ten minutes after Zelenskyy declines the deal. That way Vlad gets the whole country, Win-lose bad and glow in the dark. Not a pleasant thought or easy decision to make.
The thing that has Xi so cheerful is the reality that “China is the Ukraine war’s biggest winner no matter how it ends.” Win-for them, no matter how it goes down.
As Trump’s national security adviser John Bolton explains, if “Russia prevails in whole or in part, it is China’s ally that is victorious, over bitter Ukrainian resistance and substantial US and NATO assistance, thereby increasing the threat to other former constituent parts of the Soviet Union and to Western Europe generally.” Likewise, “if Moscow is defeated, Beijing’s ally will be even more heavily reliant on China and thus even more in its thrall. It is hard to describe a range of scenarios more to Xi’s liking.”
Global domination type stability
When Vlad was talking about global “stability” what he really meant was “world domination.” Ukraine “and the rest of the former Russian empire will not be the only targets of this new Eurasian Axis.”
Three of the Baltic states which used to be behind the iron curtain are now NATO members. Then, there’s East Asia. China is acting like a big bully.
“Taiwan is urgently strengthening its defenses, while the United States, Japan and other allies consider larger structures of collective self-defense to blunt any hegemonic Chinese ambitions.”

They don’t have many options to consider and seem to be too woke to understand how urgent the threat is. “Others along China’s Indo-Pacific periphery are growing understandably nervous.”
If that isn’t enough to intimidate Ukraine and the rest of the world into submission, not only do both China and Russia have nuclear weapons galore, there are all the “assorted hangers-on like North Korea, Iran, Belarus and other nations not yet out of the closet.”
Just before Xi toured Moscow, China surprised everyone by brokering “an agreement between Saudi Arabia and Iran to restore their sundered relations.” That’s major. The Ayatollah is on the verge of nuclear grade uranium. Enough to make at least two bombs.
