If you thought making blatantly racist statements against white people would be enough to get someone fired in this administration, think again.
Kalisa Wing, the controversial DOD employee who was in charge of education for department children, has been reassigned.
Not fired, just reassigned.
In fact, as far as we know, she has received no discipline at all.
Just Move Her Around
One tweet, and this is a tame one, by Wing, stated, “I’m so exhausted at these white folx in these [professional development] sessions this lady actually had the CAUdacity to say black people can be racist too.”
She also had a series of controversial children’s books that she was putting in front of military children.
An investigation was launched after her tweets were uncovered, with the DOD promising an outcome in 30 days.
Six months later, no formal investigation results have been announced.
Instead, we find out that she was moved to a different area, with Republicans in Congress only getting that notice the day before a hearing on the matter was scheduled.
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) stated, “I wrote a letter to the department in September of last year and did not receive a response. It was only when I wrote a follow-up letter in November of last year [that] we did finally get a response in December stating the department was conducting an inquiry into this matter.
“Today — six months after that initial inquiry — you responded three hours prior to this hearing, which is a trend for Biden administration officials at the last minute scrambling before these hearings.”
The fact is King was never disciplined, just moved to a less visible role “as part of a headquarters restructuring.”
That is what happens when you have an administration that is terrified of upsetting the left.
