The House hearing on the release of the Twitter files went completely off the rails.
Reporter Matt Taibbi was brought in to discuss the content of the files that he had reported.
Democrats went after him right from the outset, with the ranking member calling him a “so-called journalist.”
It got worse from there.
Rolling Downhill
Democrats know they are losing control of the narrative, so they are throwing everything they have out there right now.
That would include trying to violate the First Amendment rights of a journalist to protect his source.
We all know that Taibbi got the files from Twitter, but there is no actual proof of that.
Taibbi has never named Musk, only referring to the individual that turned them over as a “source.”
He has stood firm while being pressured, literally laughing off the attacks by Democrats, then this happened…

The end game for Democrats is that they want it on the record that Musk was the one that shared the files so they can bring him in.
They are dying to drop a charge of some sort on Musk, but Taibbi just ruined their little party.
America is seeing what Democrats are all about right now and rest assured, it is NOT a pretty picture.
