Governor Sarah Sanders is hitting the ground running in Arkansas.
The new governor is doing sweeping educational reforms.
Much to the chagrin of progressives, she is also taking on this insane movement to encourage children to change their gender.

Earlier this week, the Arkansas legislature passed a bill that will surely be tested in the courts soon enough.
The bill allows patients of transition surgery to sue doctors up to 15 years after the surgery if the patient was under 18 years old at the time of the surgery.
Personally, I love this bill.
As I have stated before, I could care less if someone wants to paint themselves red, slap wings on their back, and pretend they are a cardinal as an adult, but this should not be an option for children.
Sanders law would more than likely put a screaming halt to such surgeries in Arkansas.
If the law is challenged and it holds up, I would expect to see similar legislation in other red states.
The current statute of limitations for malpractice is two years, so doctors would have to make some changes to how they store their case information.
That, however, is their problem.
Any doctor that operates on a child that young for this type of a surgery is a monster, in my opinion.
Let’s just hope the law holds up when it is challenged, and it will surely be challenged.
