Yet another completely preventable crime has been committed.
It was preventable because an illegal immigrant committed the crime.
Sadly, the crime also involved a young child.

Jesus Silva, 49, was arrested in Beverly Hills, Texas, on March 1.
He has been charged with indecency with a child, a second-degree felony.
The report stated, “Silva was taken into custody by police amid allegations that he sexually molested a girl under the age of 10.
“Silva remains in custody at the McLennan County Jail.
“The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency has lodged a detainer so that if he is released at any time, he will be turned over to them for arrest and deportation.”

Local outlet KXTX reported, “He is being held on an immigration detainer, meaning authorities believe he is in the country illegally and he would be turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) if he is released from jail for any reason.”
Had we had any control at our border, perhaps this man would have never gotten into this country.
Then, perhaps that young girl would not be having horrific nightmares for the rest of her life.
