A controversial debate has been sparked online after a woman was caught on camera wearing what some would call an “inappropriate” G-string bikini while at a family waterpark. 

The brief 17 second clip was posted online by user Kim Stram (@kstram83) from the unnamed waterpark where the woman could be seen wearing a revealing nude-colored bikini around other guests. 

As can be seen in a screenshot of the video, the design of the bikini had crisscross string straps on the back. Additionally, the thong bikini showed off the majority of the woman’s bottom. 

In the video, the woman wearing the bikini could be seen wearing a large pair of sunglasses, enjoying her time in the water of the wave pool. Ironically enough, it seems that the children playing around her paid no mind to the woman’s appearance. 

Curious to get the thoughts and opinions of other online viewers, Stram added this text to the video: “Is this appropriate for a family water park or not?”

“Thoughts!! I don’t think it’s appropriate there’s kids all around her, but she looks great!!” the caption read.

Since she originally posted the video, it has gathered quite a lot of attention, with 4.5 million views, 161,000 likes and 21,000 comments.

On one side of the debate, there were viewers who stated that if the kids around the woman weren’t bothered by her bikini than neither should the adults.

One person said: “People keep saying there’s kids around but the kids don’t care. the women are just concerned their husbands are looking.”

“Children don’t care or sexualise, it’s what we teach our children that matters,” another person wrote.

Someone else replied: “In Spain all family beaches, water parks are just like her.”

“Is it appropriate to record someone in a bathing suit without them noticing?” a fourth person questioned whether the TikToker receive permission from the woman in question to film her.

On the other hand, some viewers felt that the revealing bikini at a family waterpark was not the “time and place” for it.

One person wrote: “Everyone supportive yet if a man wore a skin tight speedo with kids eye level to it they would be mad as hell.”

“It’s called having respect for others and their family this world doesn’t have it anymore,” another person said.

Someone else added: “No!!!! People don’t have any sense I mean cmon there’s kids around

“That’s too much. Time and place. I wear stuff like that but I wouldn’t wear it there out of respect for others,” a fourth person commented.
