Donald Trump’s super PAC woes are going to get much worse than they already have been.
The spending of the money of the PAC has been under fire from the outset.
At one point, the PAC had more than $250 million that it raised, yet Trump was not contributing to campaigns with any large cash donations.
So, where did the money go?
Anything But Campaigns
From the reports that I have been able to dig up thus far, the majority of the money has gone to Trump’s legal bills.
For instance, in September 2022, the Save America PAC spent $6.3 million, with almost $4 million of that spend going to legal fees.
Prior to that, the PAC had sent a check for $3 million to attorney Chris Kise.
The only large donation that was made during that time was to another PAC, Wyoming Values, where Trump sent $150,000 to take out Liz Cheney.
He also spent about $500,000 supporting David Perdue against Governor Kemp in the primary race.
Trump also spent as much on Melania’s Hair as he did on defeating Liz Cheney, racking up $132,000 in payments to her stylist, Herve Pierre Braillard, for what is being categorized as “Strategy Consulting.”
I am going to continue digging into these filings to try to account for every dollar that this PAC spent so I can show you just how misleading Trump was with the money that he raised that we all thought was going to support candidates.
