Now that the House is back in session, it is time to take out the trash.
At the top of that list is Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.).
A resolution has been introduced by his fellow New York Republicans to expel him from office.

Santos deceived voters during his campaign with a completely fictional resume.
New York Republicans have asked him to resign, but he has refused.
Now he is facing a slew of charges related to his deception and campaign fund violations.
New York Republican Reps. Anthony D’Esposito, Brandon Williams, Nick LaLota, and Marc Molinaro are pushing for Santos to be expelled, something that has only happened five times in the history of Congress.
After the resolution was introduced, Santos stated, “Three points of clarification: 1. I have not cleared out my office. 2. I’m not resigning. 3. I’m entitled to due process and not a predetermined outcome as some are seeking. God bless!”
He is entitled to due process, but he is not necessarily entitled to serve in Congress.
That is a privilege, one in which he was granted by blatantly lying to voters.
Expel this piece of garbage as soon as possible so we can get some dignity back in the party.
