For weeks, Fox News had been hyping up its new prime-time lineup.
Laura Ingraham was going to lead things off, with Jesse Watters being moved to the 8:00 p.m. slot.
Sean Hannity was getting the money spot, and Greg Gutfeld was batting cleanup.
The problem… nobody was really watching.
Tucker Backfires
Tucker Carlson was a rock star in that top spot, but many Trump supporters were furious when the network let him go.
Ratings, since Tucker was canned, have been steadily dipping, with MAGA watchers finding other news sources to get their fix.
For the first time in forever, Fox News did not crush its opposition in the main prime-time spots.
Sean Hannity, who has been the target of some hits in the right-wing media, completely crashed and burned.
According to the report, Hannity only pulled 149,000 viewers from the top demographic, losing to MSNBC and Rachel Maddow.
Just to give you perspective, that is about 30 percent of what Tucker Carlson used to pull in that same spot.
Fox News is cratering viewership in the all-important 25-54 year old demographic.

There was also a bit of new information that hit Twitter, with it being revealed that Fox News is now vetting Trump interviews, so the Town Hall with Hannity and Trump had been prerecorded…
Fun fact. The hannity town hall with trump tonight is prerecorded. Why? Because fox has a standing order to vet everything trump says. They won’t allow people to hear from him directly, because he might mock their ratings or say forbidden things about the last election.

This is a complete and utter disaster for Fox News, which has been able to tout the number-one spot for years.
I am not saying this is the end of Fox News, but they better do something fast.
