These days, it’s becoming more and more common for people to experience dangerous or deadly accidents while attempting to take a selfie or video on their phone, and it’s clear that won’t be going away any time soon.
In another recent horrific incident, a woman died in the Dominican Republic while she was hanging out of a car window attempting to pose for a video.
The victim, 35-year-old mother Natalia Borodina had been on vacation when the incident occurred.
The accident was captured on video, where footage reveals Borodina topless hanging out of a car window wearing only white bottoms.
Her friend, 32-year-old Ivanna Boirachuk was filming the scene in the midst of driving. And while in the moment Natalia appeared to be having fun and laughing at the camera, the stunt sadly proved to be fatal for her.
Within only a few moments of the video, Natalia could be seen getting hit in the head by a lamp post.
Russian media reports shared that the incident took place on a highway near Punta Cana. Natalia suffered serious injuries from the accident, which she later succumbed to after being rushed to a hospital.
Reports reveal that Natalia’s friend had earlier been arrested by police on suspicion of drinking and driving.
During the time of the deadly incident, Natalia’s 8-year-old son was also in the Dominican Republic.
Before her death, Natalia held a job as a luxury real estate agent offering properties to affluent Russian buyers.
