There are few famous people that I have shed a tear for when they died.
When Robin Williams passed away, I cried like a damn baby and I am not ashamed to admit it. It was sad initially to find out that he went the way he went, but when you dive deeper into it and see that he had a form of dementia that was making it impossible for him to function, you can almost understand.
The man was about the most versatile performer that has ever been in movies or television. He could do it all. He could do a vulgar comedy routine when it warranted the situation, and then be in a family comedy about taking your kids on a cross-country motor home trip the next.
He was a great talent, and he is sorely missed. One of the things about him though is that he didn’t do a whole lot of political material in his stand-up act.
Sure, he did jokes here and there but he didn’t make it the focal point of what he was doing.
Which is why this unearthed clip of him roasting Joe Biden like he was about to be served to a room of hungry diner patrons is even more amazing.
The clip shows Robin going after Biden in a way that would make you think that had he lived he would have been a die-hard Trump supporter.
There were people even in 2009 who knew that Joe Biden was too old to be a heartbeat away from the highest office in our nation.
Now that the is in office, the idea of him bumbling around like a fool, sputtering out sentence fragments is all the more frustrating given that we had people like Robin Williams out there years ago telling us how bad an idea Joe Biden is.
It is one of those things that we definitely have to look at in the coming weeks and months as we try to get people to realize how bad Joe Biden is for our country. We don’t even have to show people footage of what Biden did last week.
All we have to do is show them a video of fifteen years ago and they will understand that he is not good for our country.
