Chinese Restaurant In BIG Trouble After It’s Exposed Where They Get Their Chicken

I love Asian food, especially Chinese buffets. When I was a much younger man, Chinese buffets saved me from starvation.

There was a place where I worked at the time that had a pretty swell deal that they would put five extra dollars in your paycheck for every day that you worked as a way of the boss saying lunch was on him. Nice guy. Still send him a Christmas card every year.

Anyway, every single day I would eat lunch at a Chinese buffet that was a block away from where I worked.

The lunch buffet was something like six dollars so for a dollar a day, five days a week I could eat pretty well and fill myself up for most of the day.

That being said, I think restaurants should be as up and up on where they get the ingredients for the dishes they make.

Places that serve food should try to make fresh food as much as possible, but at the same time, I know that buffets need to lean on the crutch of frozen food more often than not.

Even so, the food should at least be prepared properly. I cannot tell you how many episodes of restaurant rescue shows I have seen where the owners can’t even make frozen pizzas properly.

But back to Chinese buffets. Most of these establishments offer good food, competently prepared, and at good prices. This is why what one Chinese buffet I have learned about recently just makes me scratch my head.

My wife and I recently were on the road and we said, why don’t we stop at a Chinese buffet? It was the middle of the afternoon.

So we were both walking up to the buffet line and we saw what we were being told was Sesame chicken. Now, I love that stuff. I have probably put on twenty pounds in my life due to that one dish alone.

Imagine my horror when I began to fill my plate up and notice that something was a little off. It looked like there were raw sesame seeds on the chicken. Then it dawned on me, the chicken had a funny shape to it. They looked like little tiny dinosaurs.

They were the exact same chicken nuggets we give our six-year-old nephew. It was the damndest thing I have ever seen.

I know that sometimes you have to make do with what you have, but this is probably one of the funniest and saddest things I have ever seen in my life.
