There’s a special place in hell for people who try to harm kids. Full stop. There’s just no debating this fact.
The kids, simply cannot defend themselves the way a fully grown adult can. This is why it’s such a shot to the gut when you see someone trying to harm a child for whatever evil reason that they decided to come up with.
It’s the reason why it is such a relief that there are more people out there who are willing to do what is right and absolutely decimate someone trying to hurt a kid and let the subsequent injuries that come remind these horrible people of the error of their ways.
I’m personally never more careful or aware of my surroundings than when I am watching one of my nephews. I drive a little slower, my head is more on a swivel. You have to be, we owe it to them.
An absolutely amazing display of the “head on a swivel” principle took place recently at a CVS location in the Miami area.
A four-year-old little boy was walking out of the store with his parents and some absolutely sickening piece of garbage reached for the young man and began attempting to drag him away.
I say attempted because failure counts as trying. The father of this little boy instantly saw what was up and dragged this guy back into the store and took him straight to the ground while his mother got him away and to safety.
Somehow, the attempted kidnapper managed to get free and try to run away. Now, It might just be me, but this probably isn’t the first bad decision that this guy has made in his life.
I mean, as you can see in the video it appeared as if his big plan while grabbing the young man was to flee INTO the store.
The father was able to give chase and flag down a nearby police officer where the attempted kidnapper was taken into custody.
This story thankfully ended with as happy of an ending as an attempted kidnapping could. It also teaches us a very valuable lesson. We need to be on our toes as much in public when it comes to young children.
I look at the video of what happened inside this CVS and think that maybe those people who put their kids on leashes in decades past weren’t as silly as we might have thought at the time.
