Democrats are now on the warpath to take out Donald Trump.
They are all doing the media circuit pushing a completely false narrative about the 14th Amendment.
Trump’s camp has finally had enough, and they are firing back.
Just Not True
We have members of Congress pushing the narrative that Donald Trump is disqualified from the election.
They claim that since he has been accused of insurrection, they can remove him, but that simply is not true.
They are making a very loose and very dangerous constitutional interpretation of the 14th Amendment.
Trump’s camp called it an “absurd conspiracy theory.”
A Trump spokesperson stated, “The people who are pursuing this absurd conspiracy theory and political attack on President Trump are stretching the law beyond recognition much like the political prosecutors in New York, Georgia, and D.C.
“There is no legal basis for this effort except in the minds of those who are pushing it.”
In fact, one case has already come before the court and it was dismissed.
I just don’t know how elected officials using a bogus narrative to try to convince voters a candidate is not eligible for office is not considered election interference.
