Just how lost is this world because of social media?
Well, look no further than the video of a student with a knife attacking another student in the hallway of a high school.
Rather than try to help or even call for help, everyone just stood around and filmed it.

Based on the way this video goes, I almost think the kid with the knife wanted it filmed.
As he gets ready to pounce on the unsuspected student, he turns and looks back at a student filming.
While would the person be filming if they did not suspect this was going to happen?
At that point, the student starts to dash down the hall, then stabs the other student several times in the back before he can defend himself.
All the while, other students are filming and watching.
Eventually, the Asian student manages to get in position, gets a hold of the knife, and screams for help.
A teacher finally shows up and breaks it up…

Somehow, not a single one of those stab wounds was life-threatening.
The Asian student was treated and expected to make a full recovery.
Acting Superintendent Brian Nolan stated, “We’re looking at the metal detecting systems themselves, we’re looking at the calibration, the police are interviewing the assailant and trying to get information from him on how the weapon was brought into the school.”
The investigation is behind handled by the Utica police, who stated, “We are aware that there were several student witnesses to the incident, as well as cell phone videos that were taken during the altercation.
“We ask that if any of those students wish to come forward with that evidence, to please contact your Assistant Principal or counselor and they will contact the Utica Police Department.”
