We have said all along that these cases against Trump would be delayed just long enough to hurt him for the 2024 election.
Well, that prediction just came true.
If special counsel Jack Smith has his way, the entire primary season will be filled with trials for Donald Trump.
Big Problems
Alvin Bragg already has his hush-money case scheduled to start in March 2024.
There is another case for Trump that is now scheduled to start its trial in May 2024.
Smith just requested his trial date… January 2, 2024.
He stated, “The Government proposes that trial begin on January 2, 2024, and estimates that its case in chief will take no longer than four to six weeks.”
If Smith’s request is granted by the courts, that would mean that Trump would be in court from January through June of 2024, which is literally the entire primary season.
Trump is obviously livid, claiming this is all an attempt to take him out of the election.
It is hard to not at least entertain that idea when you see these trial dates.
And let’s not forget the fact that it seemed like every time Joe Biden took a hit in the media, Smith was announcing another indictment.
If this is not a manufactured attack, it sure is one hell of a coincidence.
